Our Workforce

America’s cable industry supports a diverse workforce of 3 million direct and indirect jobs. You can find our employees in nearly every corner of the United States, with at least 300 in each congressional district.?

Our workforce represents all demographic and educational backgrounds, spanning both rural and urban communities throughout America. We offer a wide array of jobs that can appeal to all skill levels and interests – from front-line professionals who serve as the face of the industry; engineers and technicians who build and operate broadband networks; programmers and developers who design and build TV platforms; and writers and creative professionals who bring award-winning and culturally significant storytelling to life. There is no shortage of careers or growth within cable’s workforce.
